Find the normal Perk Master
The normal Perk Master at home manages your original perk progression. He is a short walk northeast of the Demonic Perk Master. His menu can give you a perk crystal, report your current task and active perk set, or skip a task using a perk task skip scroll.
Open his perk interface to inspect your owned perks and choose your active setup. The normal system has its own level and perk-point balance. These are distinct from the Demonic point ledger.
Choose a normal task
Use the Master's task action, choose Skilling or PvM, then select Easy, Medium, Hard or Elite. The task picker checks your eligibility. PvM task bands require combat level 50 for Medium, 75 for Hard and 90 for Elite; individual tasks may impose additional requirements.
Complete the assigned action rather than obtaining the resulting items by another method. The Master's What is my current perk task? option reports your current task and remaining work. Normal task completion awards progression through the normal perk handler; active events can affect normal perk experience.
Understand active perk slots
Your normal Perk Tree level determines how many perks can be active:
- Below level 50: 2 active perks.
- Level 50–74: 3 active perks.
- Level 75–99: 4 active perks.
- Level 100 and above: 5 active perks.
Owning a perk and having it active are different states. Use the perk interface to inspect the setup you are actually using. The Master's active-set dialogue reports an active combination when one is present; the repository shows perk combinations.
Buying and upgrading
The perk interface uses normal perk points for ordinary purchases and upgrades. Check the selected perk's current level and displayed cost before confirming. Normal perks may have different effects at different perk levels; the point balance alone is not the normal Perk Tree level.
The handler also supports a specific free level-5 perk unlock. Follow the interface's eligibility and description rather than assuming that every perk is free or that buying it raises your normal tree level.
Skipping a normal task
Ask the normal Master to skip your perk task. The confirmation consumes one perk task skip scroll. If you do not have a scroll, the skip does not proceed. This belongs to the normal task system; the Demonic Master's task skips use their own coin cost and donator cooldown rules.
Moving on to Demonic Perks
At normal Perk Tree level 100, you can accept new Demonic assignments. Level 100 also provides the fifth normal active slot; normal experience is not capped there. Keep the two systems separate when reading rewards: normal perk points purchase normal perks, while claimed Demonic assignments add to the Demonic ledger.
