Boss Bounty: find, win and claim prizes

Read live funded offers, understand eligible kills and raid contributions, and collect the prize through the correct reward container.

Progression at a glance Guide diagram
  1. 1Read the live offer

Use ::bossbounty for its target, funded prize and chance.

  2. 2Complete the target

Meet the account and encounter contribution rules.

  3. 3Win its check

Each active bounty rolls separately and retires after an award.

  4. 4Collect the prize

Use the target’s normal ground, corpse or chest route.

Start with the live list

Use ::bossbounty in game to view active offers. Each offer has a target, a funded reward and a configured 1-in-N chance. These offers change as hosts create or cancel them and players win them. The Boss Bounty reference describes the system; it is not a list of prizes currently running on the world.

A bounty is an extra sponsored reward alongside the encounter's ordinary loot. The host reserves actual tradeable items, and the first successful award retires that offer. Several offers can target the same boss. Their checks are separate, so one qualifying kill can win more than one bounty.

Check eligibility before joining

The recipient must be an online, identified non-Ironman account outside a tournament. Ironman modes do not receive these tradeable-item prizes. Supported combat targets exclude pets, player-controlled combat sources and encounter helpers that do not represent a completed boss reward.

The system captures the bounties active at the qualifying kill or completion. Creating an offer after a boss has already died does not add a second chance to that old kill. Boss transformations are mapped to their supported encounter target; visually similar NPCs are not automatically interchangeable.

Boss kills and raids work differently

For a supported boss kill, the eligible reward owner receives the configured bounty check. A 1-in-N label describes that offer's check, not the boss's ordinary unique rate. Normal drop multipliers do not multiply a funded prize.

For Chambers of Xeric, Theatre of Blood and Tombs of Amascut, the bounty is checked at final raid completion. Positive-contribution eligible participants form the candidate pool. Contribution weights choose a potential recipient, then that bounty's configured chance is checked. Room monsters do not each roll the full raid bounty, and every party member does not independently receive the listed chance.

Collect from the encounter's reward route

Prizes follow the target's normal ground, corpse or chest reward route. A ground reward still needs collecting; a chest reward still needs claiming. Funded items do not grant ordinary unique-roll or collection-log credit just because the same item exists on a boss table.

Raid bounty prizes have a saved claim path through their native chests. If space or the current account action blocks collection, finish that action, free space and reopen the chest. This saved bounty path does not change ordinary Chambers loot: collect the ordinary Chambers reward before leaving the raid.

Read raid reward modes and claims and ground items before leaving valuable loot behind.

Hosting an offer

Hosting is restricted to eligible staff/support, community-manager and YouTuber accounts, and the account must be non-Ironman. A permitted host can use a reward item on a supported combat NPC or boss/raid entrance. ::bossbounty host explicitly arms setup when ordinary item interactions would otherwise take priority.

Follow the amount, chance and review dialogue. Nothing is reserved until confirmation. Setup expires after five minutes; ::bossbounty stop cancels a pending setup. The limit is 20 active offers per world and three per host. Use ::bossbounty cancel ID to request cancellation of an offer you can manage, checking its ID in the live list first.
